ACES arrive home for tantalising Plunket Shield clash against Canterbury

 ACES

The Auckland ACES are gearing up to take on Canterbury in Round Three of the Plunket Shield, beginning Thursday, November 28, at Kennards Hire Community Oval, Eden Park.

This promises to be a tantalizing clash with one of the Auckland team’s great rivals, as Canterbury comes off a strong win against the Central Stags, while the ACES are confident of bouncing back from their loss against Northern Districts, and building on a largely successful season across formats.

The big news is the return of Mark Chapman, fresh from his stint with the BLACKCAPS. Chapman brings his wealth of experience and an impressive skillset that will be invaluable in this key fixture. His inclusion bolsters a strong squad eager to deliver in their first Plunket Shield home game of the season.

The ACES will relish playing at Kennards Hire Community Oval, with home support providing an extra boost. Meanwhile, Canterbury will be eager to maintain their momentum after their recent victory. With both teams hungry for success, this encounter is set to be a fascinating battle between two quality sides.

The ACES have showcased their depth and resilience throughout the season, but they will be missing Ben Lister, Cameron Fletcher, and Jock McKenzie for this match due to injury.

The match begins tomorrow at 10:30 am and will be live-streamed on New Zealand Cricket’s YouTube channel.
