Amberly Parr Retires from Domestic Cricket

 HEARTS

HEARTS bowler Amberly Parr has called time on her playing career. Amberly represented Auckland 8 times between 2021/22 and 2022/23.

"Although my time in the HEARTS set up was brief, it was a great opportunity to develop as a player and was filled with awesome experiences.

"I have decided to step away from the domestic space to focus on my career and to begin to explore coaching in the women's space as that is an area I am passionate about," says Parr.

Parr took three wickets in seven Hallyburton Johnstone Shield matches and had returns of 1/5 off three overs in her sole Super Smash match, which was a memorable one for the HEARTS as they beat a powerful 18-game winning streak Wellington Blaze team on their own turf.
