New Zealand Cricket has awarded WHITE FERNS contracts to six Auckland HEARTS players for 2024/25.

Returning to the contract list is top order batter and former HEARTS captain Lauren Down, who will mark her return to cricket for the first time since giving birth to a daughter in January.

Also awarded contracts are HEARTS captain Maddy Green, who returned to the Auckland side for the first time in five seasons in 2023/24, and left handed batter Brooke Halliday, who moved from Northern Districts.

Rounding out the list are young guns Izzy Gaze, Fran Jonas and Molly Penfold, who all retained central contracts for the upcoming season.

The WHITE FERNS are about to tour England for ODI and T20I series this month, where all eyes will be on our bumper crop of Auckland talent showing their wares on the big stage.
