With the tail end of the Super Smash fast approaching, Auckland will be treated to three final rounds of Super Smash action at Eden Park’s main oval.

Tomorrow’s double header against the Otago Volts & Sparks looms as a chance for the ACES to consolidate their position at the top end of the table while the HEARTS seek to move into the mid table and take some momentum into the final two rounds.

This time the ACES will be featured first and are seeking revenge against the Otago Volts, the only side to beat them in the Super Smash so far.

The ACES new look yet familiar top order will be worth watching as George Worker and Cole Briggs look to make their mark on the tournament.

They’ll be without Lockie Ferguson this time, who will be managing his workload ahead of linking up with the BLACKCAPS for the final three games of the Pakistan T20I series. Nikith Perera returns to the 12 in his place.

The HEARTS will only make one change as Bella Armstrong returns to the 12 in place of Brooke Halliday, who is coming back from injury and will have her workload managed during a busy week of Super Smash cricket.

The Sparks beat the HEARTS in Alexandra on January 1^st on the back of a powerful Suzie Bates performance with the bat. The HEARTS’ talented pace bowlers will be worth watching as they seek Bates’ wicket early.

This is the first Super Smash match at Eden Park Number One since January 2022, where Auckland Cricket paid tribute to our city’s essential workers.

On that occasion the HEARTS put on a winning performance against the Central Hinds before the ACES narrowly lost to the Stags.

The ACES kick off proceedings against the Volts with the first ball at 12:30pm followed by the HEARTS vs. Sparks at 4:30pm.
