An overcast morning made way for a stunning Auckland afternoon as the outstanding individual performances kept coming in the Honda Financial Premiership.

The Prichard Cup saw a 7-for for the third weekend in a row, with Howick Pakuranga’s Rae Allright (7-7) the bowler to take her side to victory.

Parnell piled on in their bumper clash with Suburbs New Lynn in the Hedley Howarth, while 17 wickets fell at Lloyd Elsmore Park where Howick Pakuranga and Papatoetoe are fighting for first-innings points. Graeme Beghin’s 137 took North Shore past 300, while Mike Sclanders (131) continued his excellent form for Takapuna.

In the Tom Hellaby, Eden Roskill secured first-innings points, while East Coast Bays are well on their way to doing the same. A Jared Challis century has Waitakere on the front foot at Birkenhead.
