Auckland University played host to Cornwall at Colin Maiden Park in the feature game of the week in the Hedley Howarth Championship with both teams playing out a highly entertaining days cricket.

Pierce Fletcher and Thomas Wells turned the game on its head, both bowlers running riot reducing Cornwall to 7/31 in the 18th over, University well and truly in control with Cornwall in disarray.

Enter Teja Nidamanuru..

A barely believable first innings ending with both teams a chance of claiming first innings points with University finishing the day 95/0.
