The ACES will return home with a familiar feeling as Day Four against the Wellington Firebirds at the Basin has been abandoned.
After the first two days promised so much for the ACES, the match ends in a draw. The result sees the ACES take five points (4 bowling, 1 batting) from the match, while the Firebirds secured four bowling points.
It continues a frustrating fortnight for the ACES where six days out of eight have been washed away.
The Plunket Shield will take a break until late February as the ACES look forward to their next assignment; the Ford Trophy starts at home against the Wellington Firebirds on Sunday.
