ACES vs. Central Stags | Stags won by 113 runs

The ACES

Winning the toss and bowling first, the ACES were in a strong position when leg-spinner Adithya Ashok (3-53) found the outside edge of Ross Taylor.

At 88/3, Stags skipper Tom Bruce (50) joined Will Young and the pair put together a fourth-wicket stand of 73. It was enough to steer their side out of trouble and set up the death overs.

Young would carry on through to 107, his sixth List-A century, and with the help of Doug Bracewell (42), the hosts would finish with 296/7. For the ACES, Ben Lister picked up a wicket at the top and one at the death, while Sean Solia and Will Somerville claimed one wicket apiece.

In reply, the ACES faced a testing start as Seth Rance and Adam Milne settled in on a line and length. While Martin Guptill was patient on his way to a 48th List-A fifty, the ACES opener lost partners along the way.

The Stags continued to pick up wickets through Blair Tickner (4-37) and Doug Bracewell (3-42) to eventually seal an 113-run win.
