Takapuna Cricket Clubs Super 8’s a hit with local schools

SUPER 8s CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2017 – 28th February -1st March

The Takapuna DCC annual Super 8’s tournament was held on Tuesday and Wednesday played at the Onewa Domain with forty teams taking part in the four different leagues.

The Champions League (for boys) Y5/6, Tuesday 28th February on Onewa Domain # 1

In the Champions League final Campbells Bay beat Murrays Bay to win the top title.

The Debbie Hockley League (for girls), Tuesday 28th February on Onewa Domain # 2

Northcote Primary beat Murrays Bay to win the Debbie Hockley League.

Girls winning team is Northcote Primary - Kaelea Norton, Lisa Gear, Alex Hodgkinson, Lily Johnson, Lily Fotu, Lucy Francis,Roxy Murphy, Millie Rooney, Lila Austin, Hayley Batty

 

Westlake Boys High Cricket Institute students assisted with umpiring, scoring and the sausage sizzle on Day 1

The Brendon McCullum League (boys), Wednesday 1st March on Onewa Domain # 1

Takapuna Primary beat Target Road School in the final to win the Brendon McCullum League.
