The rain continues to follow the ACES around the country, with ten out of eleven days now affected by rain.
Day Three of the ACES Plunket Shield encounter with the Wellington Firebirds loomed as moving day but instead became another frustrating one.
Early morning rain did not ease throughout the day and the players were unable to take the field.
Still leading by 22 runs, the ACES are hopeful the sun will return on Day Four and that the bowling group can make inroads into the Firebirds middle order.
Day Four is scheduled to get underway at 10.30 am.
