Changing rooms underneath the new South Stand

The skin is on, the seats are going in, the concourse is developing rapidly - there's plenty happening at Eden Park so we grabbed a camera and went for a wander.

Down in the bowels of the new stand the main changing rooms are now virtually complete as are the main kitchens, which are already in operation.

Meanwhile on the upper levels the corporate box area is getting to the fit out stage as are the coaches' and media boxes, and on the top level the seats are mostly in place.

Over on the Eastern stand the base level is nearing completion with a large portion of the seating now in and the connecting stand (the old Panasonic Stand) between the East and ASB stand complete. Work is also well advanced on the entrance and concourse between the Eastern and ASB stands that will link wiht the newly created path between Sandringham and Walters Roads.

The construction is now so advanced that aesthetic touches are being added to areas with trees having been planted in the transport hub and at the rear of the South Stand.

Meanwhile progress on the concourse out the back of the West Stand and entrance onto Walters Rd is moving ahead rapidly in conjunction with the changes being made to Sandringham Rd.
