Mitchell McClenaghanis joined by Colin de Grandhomme in the ODI squad

The Aces have three represenatives in the two New Zealand A squads announced by New Zealand Cricket yesterday.

Colin de Grandhomme and Mitchell McClenaghan were named in the ODI squad and Reece Young in the Three/four day squad that will face India A during September and October this year. Young has also been named captain of the Three/Four day squad

The series will begin September 18th with three 50 over matches, followed by one three-day match and one four-day match, all of which will be played at Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln, Canterbury.

Director of Cricket John Buchanan said: "We are pleased to host India A at Lincoln as it will provide our athletes with invaluable match practice against a quality opposition.

"The NZC High Performance Plan emphasises the need to increase our playing opportunities for athletes on the edge of BLACKCAPS selection, or who are part of our contracted list for different formats of the game.

"The schedule provides a good mix of competition and will provide us with a closer look at some of the athletes who will be pressing their claims for higher duties later in the season."
