Making the HPC a home for the Aces

Rnovations should be complete by the end of July

Domestic cricket returns to Eden Park this season and whilst there has been plenty happening on the Outer Oval to reinstate the pitch and outfield there's also been a fair bit going on in the High Performance Centre as well.

The move back to Eden Park means that the Aces will be able to have indoor and outdoor facilities all in the one place and the upgrade to the HPC complex is about trying to make it part of a facility that gives the Aces a one stop shop for all their training needs.

That means improved changing areas, a warm-up area for the Aces to use pre-training or game and a designated Aces lounge for the players to relax in.

The renovations have been under way for a month and still have a way to go but we thought it was about time we had a look at what's going on down there and talked to the skilled professionals in charge....well, Batesy.
